Manulife to the Rescue with Flight Assistance Protection

Choosing travel insurance with Manulife ensures the biggest worry for a traveller is which level of sunscreen to use.
"It's very easy from an insurance point of view, you get what you pay for," Manulife's soon-to-retire AVP & GM Jacques Gilbert told TravelPulse Canada at a recent conference in Mexico.
"There's a lot of people that look only at pricing because of the marketing directly towards consumers. We choose to do a lot of our business through travel agents, and offer products that don't exist anywhere else."
With the travel industry in full swing, it’s a good time to remind agents that Manulife Flight Assistance is available with most policies at no extra cost, providing each insured person with a $40 or $140 disruption benefit.
Travellers whose flights are delayed by three hours will receive $40 each while those delayed six hours or more will receive $140. Notifications are done easily by text.
Instant notifications, payments sent in real-time via Interac e-transfer are part of the easy reimbursement process and are included in the following plans: Premium Protection, Global All-Inclusive, Trip Cancellation and Interruption, Non-Medical All Inclusive, Canada All-Inclusive, Annual All-Inclusive, Youth All-Inclusive and Youth Deluxe.
Whether you are travelling outside your province or Canada, Manulife Financial Travel Insurance plans are designed to help protect you against the cost of unexpected emergencies that may occur before or during your trip.
"We just tell them, if it's unexpected we pay."
