Each month we scour the web for the best cruise deals on mainstream cruise lines and luxury ships, as well as river cruises, small-ship companies and expedition vessels. It’s not too soon to start planning that spring or summer voyage, and many cruise lines are offering discounts throughout the month of February for departures to Alaska, Europe, and beyond.
Un-Cruise Adventures Offers Savings up to $400
The Offer: Small ship cruise line, Un-Cruise Adventures, specializes in expeditions to remote locations that allow passengers to get closer than ever to wildlife and natural surroundings. The company is reducing savings up to $400 per couple on voyages to Alaska, Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, Hawaii, Columbia and Snake Rivers, British Columbia, and coastal Washington.
Booking Information: This offer is valid on new reservations made by March 27.
The Catch: Discounts and travel periods vary based on destination.
Last Chance for Princess Cruises’ Anniversary Sale
The Offer: Princess is celebrating its 50th anniversary with up to $500 savings per person on cruise fares to Alaska, New England, the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and other top destinations. The offer also includes up to $200 onboard spending credits, free specialty dining for two, and up to 50 percent off third and fourth passenger fares. Onboard celebrations include a commemorative menu that celebrates the past five decades, a festive “Love Boat” disco deck party, and a golden balloon drop.
Booking Information: This deal applies to cruises sailing between May and December 2015. Book by Feb. 26.
The Catch: Discounts are based on the magic words, “up to $500.”
Hurtigruten’s Five Day Sale Slashes Rates in Norway
The Offer: Norwegian coastal cruise line, Hurtigruten, is slashing rates up to 35 percent for a savings of as much as $1,065 per person (on the 12-day cruise). The sale includes savings on the award-winning 6-, 7-, 11- and 12-day classic voyages to small fishing villages along Norway’s stunning coast. The cruise line also introduced a variety of new excursions including hikes, whale watching, guided cycling trips, kayaking, and more.
Booking Information: Book between Feb. 2 and 6 for any April, May, or June 2015 Norway coastal voyage.

Paul Gauguin Cuts Prices by 50 Percent
The Offer: Known for five-star cruises in Tahiti, Paul Gauguin is cutting prices by 50 percent on all 2015 and 2016 voyages to Tahiti and the Society Islands, Tuamotus, Fiji, Cook Islands and the Marquesas. This offer includes airfare from Los Angeles. The company is also offering 50 percent off all 2015 cruises aboard the Tere Moana, with sailings in Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Booking Information: This promotion is capacity controlled and subject to change at any time.
The Catch: Port fees and connecting flights to Los Angeles are not included.
Sail Windjammer Caribbean Cruise Discounts up to 30 Percent
The Offer: Sail Windjammer specializes in carefree cruising in the Grenadines aboard the S/V Mandalay, a wooden sailing ship that calls on the lesser-visited islands. The recently extended “Sailing Sunday Sale” features 20 percent off one, and two-week voyages with select cruises up to 30 percent off – bringing starting prices down to around $1,280 per person.
Booking Information: Book by March 2 for travel through May 17.
The Catch: Tack on another $99 per person in port fees plus airfare to Grenada.
Avalon Waterways Cuts Rates by $2,000 on Spring Cruises
The Offer: The elegant river cruise line, Avalon Waterways, is discounting fares by up to $2,000 per couple on spring cruises along European rivers, with rates starting from $999. Itineraries range from “Tulip Time” through Holland and Belgium, “Balkan Discovery” through Hungary, Serbia, and Bulgaria, and the “Blue Danube to the Black Sea” voyage from Austria to Romania.
Booking Details: This deal expires March 24 for travel on select dates in 2015. Avalon and Royal suite cabins are not included in the promotion.
The Catch: Airfare is additional.
Holland America “Ready Set Sail” Sale
The Offer: Holland America’s Ready Set Sail event is giving cruisers a slew of added perks like free cabin upgrades, up to 10 percent off shore excursions, 50 percent off reduced deposits, and free or reduced fares for third or fourth guests. The offer covers summer cruises to Canada and New England, Europe, Alaska and Bermuda.
Booking Details: These deals are based on select sailings and shore excursions and can be discontinued at any time.
The Catch: While some cabin upgrades include verandah rooms, others are only ocean view.
