The Uganda Tourism Board is holding its largest roadshow in three cities across Canada this month aimed at educating agents on the many educational and adventurous experiences available in the country. The Uganda Tourism Board will be holding events in Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton that are designed to connect with agents and develop partnerships.
"Canada has always been a very important target market for Uganda,” says Sasha VanDenBosch, Account Director, Uganda Tourism Board. “Canadians prioritize travel and value experiences that are educational and adventurous, so Uganda is a great fit. The Uganda Tourism Board has held some smaller events in Toronto in the past and has participated in roadshows organized by tour operators, but this is our first time executing our own roadshow of this magnitude with so many service providers traveling from Uganda to connect with Canadian agents.”
Agents attending will have a chance to win one of several handcrafted giveaways as well as be entered to win an opportunity to join a FAM that will include airfare, accommodations, F&B, and all tours/park fees (including Gorilla Trekking in the Bwindi Forest & Chimpanzee trekking). The FAM is a once in a lifetime experience to be up close and personal with the beautiful primates in Uganda, as well as a chance to see the big 5 animals on numerous safari game drives.
Event times and dates are as follows:
Edmonton, September 30th, Sabor Restaurant – 12pm to 2pm
Montreal, October 2nd, Sheraton Hotel - 12pm to 2pm
Toronto, October 3rd, Broadview Hotel - 6pm to 8pm
Space is limited. To RSVP, email info@phgconsulting.com.
