Turn Your Knowledge Into Cash With New Paid Panelist Program
Travel Agent Bruce Parkinson December 05, 2022

Your expert travel knowledge has value. Why not get paid for it? With TravelPulse Canada’s new Paid Panelist Program, you will get rewarded for your expertise – up to $100 per hour. Travel advisors interested in participating can register now by clicking here or by scanning the QR code featured above.
Our advertisers want to pick your brains, through focus groups, panel discussions, webinars and other forums. Your insights, based on personal experience and client feedback, will be used to enhance existing products and services, and shape new ones. Programs will be condcuted in off peak hours such as early evening, or mid-day ( lunch ) to ensure they do not interfere with daily tasks of active selling consultants.
Canada’s travel agents have never been better equipped, and their role has never been more vital. Many enhanced their skills during the pandemic pause, diving deep into destinations, technology, marketing techniques, social media management and more.
As well as their destination and product knowledge, travel advisors can offer their industry partners operational insights in terms of group processing, file changes, on-hold times and other pain points.
Travel companies contracting with the Paid Panelist Program will have their choice of hundreds of professional travel advisors who can be segmented based on criteria including age, sales volume, years of experience, destination and product expertise, agency affiliation and more.
For example, a company could search for research subjects who are independent contractors working in Western Canada, specialize in river cruising and seniors travel, have five-plus years of experience and average annual sales of $500,000 or more.
Travel advisors interested in participating in the Paid Panelist Program can scan the QR code at the top of this story to register and complete a short survey or click here to connect directly. As opportunities arise, candidates will be contacted from the list of registrants based on client criteria.
TravelPulse Canada will work on behalf of clients, handling the logistics of setting up Zoom calls and other research tools, as well as assisting in the development of topics and questions. The company will also process agent compensation, in cash or gift cards.

John Kirk, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of TravelPulse Canada, says his years in retail travel taught him that the value of market intelligence can’t be overestimated.
"I have a very different perspective from other travel media operators. I worked with over 350 agents daily during my seven years as head of retail at Thomas Cook Canada. I’ve had decades of boots-on-the-ground industry experience. Watching closing rates, insurance sales, supplier relationships, on-hold times were all part of my daily routine, even making bookings when needed. Front line Travel Consultants are the real “ Travel Experts” their knowledge base and their insights offer quantifiable intrinsic value, which they can now be rewarded for. “ said John Kirk, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of TravelPulse Canada.
“It can be difficult for companies to elicit honest, candid and constructive insights on their own. The Paid Panelist Program offers travel companies the opportunity to drill into our extensive database to find the perfect travel professionals to offer feedback and insights,” Kirk added.
“Consumer tastes and desires are changing quickly in the post-pandemic environment. It’s never been more important to keep a finger on the pulse of the market and be poised to adapt,” Kirk concluded.
“The TravelPulse Canada Paid Panelist Program will be an important tool for our industry partners to stay at the forefront.”
