A few lucky travel agents might just find themselves starring in a new MSC Cruises television commercial. The spot, which will promote MSC Cruises’ distinctive line-up, will also tout the benefits of using a travel agent when booking travel.
The TV promo is just one perk being rolled out during MSC Cruises’ “Share the Love” travel agent campaign, which runs through the month of February and also includes daily prizes and bonus commissions. The campaign, which was designed to recognize travel agents for their ongoing support of the cruise line, includes a daily prize giveaway.
"MSC values the dedication and hard work that our travel partners exhibit on a regular basis,” said Ken Muskat, executive vice president for MSC Cruises and chairman for CLIA Trade Relations Committee. “Share the Love month is meant to add an extra layer of fun, excitement and to show our appreciation for their continued support especially during this time of major growth for our brand.”
To enter to win, travel agents must simply make a booking on any MSC ship. Individual prizes include bonus commission, iPads, gift cards, Apple watches, Amazon Echo, flatscreen TVS, and much more.
“We pride ourselves on our ongoing MSC Serving You travel agent initiative and constantly strive to build our mutual business together,” says Muskat.
In addition to the daily prizes, there will also be one grand prize. Travel agents who share their love for MSC Cruises with their clients by posting creative pictures and videos to the MSC TruePartnerships Facebook page could win a seven-day cruise on MSC Divina, which was inspired by Sophia Loren, the godmother of the MSC fleet. One winner will be selected at the end of February.
The 1,751-cabin MSC Divina comes with a whopping 30,000 square metres of public spaces including 18 bars and lounges, five swimming pools, a bowling alley, gym and Aurea Spa, 4D Theater, a Formula 1 race car simulator and the MSC Yacht Club, an all-inclusive private VIP club level with personal butler, 24-hour concierge services, Top Sail lounge and pool, and private restaurant.
MSC Cruises, part of the Mediterranean Shipping Company, sails year-round in the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean. Its seasonal itineraries cover northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, French Antilles, South America, southern Africa, as well as the Emirates and Oman.
