Five travel advisors from Direct Travel, including three from Canadian leisure division Vision Travel, have been named to the worldwide list of Condé Nast Travel Specialists.
“We are incredibly proud of this elite group,” said Stephen Smith, SVP, Leisure Marketing, North America for Direct Travel and Vision Travel, “and of our leisure support and marketing teams who really go above and beyond.”
The prestigious list, which features some 400 travel advisors and niche tour operators around the world, recognizes top advisors for their experience, expertise, resourcefulness and customer care. As Condé Nast puts it: “They’ll pull off the impossible and spare you the logistics.”
Direct/Vision advisors named to the 2022 list include Ariane Henry of White Rock, B.C., who is enjoying her second year in the group.
A 12 year veteran of the industry, Henry says, “I have had many of my clients for years and treat them like family. This recognition is very humbling. I’m passionate about travel and like to think it shows.”
Henry is also quoted in the April 2022 edition of the Condé Nast Traveler magazine, counselling readers on the value of dealing with a travel advisor.
Other Direct/Vision advisors named to the elite Condé Nast group include Canadians Lisa and Nancy Zupancic and American Jennifer Fried. Also on the list for the second time is Jesse Taylor of Direct Travel affiliate Taylor Elite Travel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
