Luxury Gold Starts 2019 on a High Note

Luxury Gold Vacations announced a 10% early payment discount on select departures for bookings made before January 31, 2019. The news was part of the launch of its 2019 itineraries held Thursday afternoon at a high tea, complete with a tea sommelier, for top travel advisors.
The afternoon was to show travel advisors that Luxury Gold has listened to what they and their clients need, and ensure the new offerings were crafted with them in mind. A presentation focused on areas such as sustainable tourism, increasing commission and out-of-the typical motorcoach group box experiences.
“Over this past year, we learned from agents what clients are looking for and some of their own agent needs, “ said Carla Brake, VP Sales, Luxury Gold. “We wanted to learn as much as we could from them and show how Luxury Gold can be important to them and their business.”
It seems to be working. With VIP experiences, small group journeys, sustainable travel and The Chairman’s Collection among the offerings, bookings are already up for 2019.
“We’re coming off a really strong 2018 as we move into 2019 which is looking amazing, our advance bookings are up 40%,” said Carla Brake, VP Sales, Luxury Gold. “It is absolutely fantastic and very exciting, I think everyone is really taking in everything luxury gold has to offer.”
2019 Luxury Escorted Journeys will include Britain, Europe, USA, Canada, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Ecuador & Galapagos, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Japan, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Egypt and South Africa.
Luxury Gold President Brad Ford says agents will have to act fast since as bookings fill up, the discount will disappear. “Our advisors are saying it’s the right offering at the right time.”
