Globus Family of Brands Appreciates Advisors With Bonus Incentive

The Globus family of brands started early, launching a special booking incentive giving advisors a $150 gift card for every Globus or Avalon Waterways booking made between mid-April and May 17.

“Travel’s comeback is well underway and we have our travel advisor partners to thank for it,” said Carla Brake, director of sales for the Globus family of brands. “To show our gratitude and to celebrate the advisor community across Canada and all they’ve done to bring travellers back to the world, we added a booking bonus to our already robust incentive program. These bonus gift cards are a small gesture to encourage – and toast – big bookings for 2023 and 2024.”

AmaWaterways Announces New Seminars On The River, 20 FAM Cruises

AmaWaterways is celebrating Travel Advisor Appreciation throughout the month of May by announcing seven new Seminar on the River cruises hosted by Business Development Managers, as well as an early opening of 20 FAM cruises on dates extending until November.

As a special thank you, all travel advisors attending Webinar Wednesdays throughout the month will be entered into a weekly draw to win a European or Mekong river cruise for two. Silversea Launches New Incentive For Travel Partner Appreciation Month

When travel advisors make a new confirmed booking on any Silversea expedition cruise during the months of May and June, they will automatically be entered into a weekly prize draw for a chance to win a gift card. One winner will be selected for each week in May and June.

"Travel Partner Appreciation Month is a special time for us to show our appreciation and reward our travel advisor partners for their loyalty and efforts," said Massimo Brancaleoni, Silversea's Senior Vice President of Global Sales.

"Though it kicks off in May, our incentives continue through June, marking our continuous appreciation for our travel partners and the important role they have played in our success for nearly three decades. Air Canada Vacations Launches Month-Long Agent Celebration

In celebration of Travel Agent Day, Air Canada Vacations has launched a month-long event, ‘You Mean the World To Us #ACVDreammakers,’ which aims to honour our the travel agent community with prize giveaways and offers.

“The You Mean the World To Us campaign is an idea that was created as a team,” said Ana Paula De Souza, Director of Sales. “I am so passionate about this as it summarizes exactly how we feel about our travel agents.”

Here are the highlights:

Until May 31, 2023, book any ACV package for your clients and get a chance to win a trip for two to anywhere Air Canada flies. The more you book, the better your chances: every package booking made between May 3-31 for travel between May 3 and December 31, will be considered as one entry. The prize includes roundtrip economy tickets for one agent plus a companion and a $2,000 accommodation voucher to anywhere that Air Canada Vacations serves. The winners will be announced on June 15.

Travel Agent Personal Travel Discount: The appreciation celebration continues with an exclusive 20% discount for agents to use for their personal travel. The agent discount will be applicable to packages to Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe throughout the month of May with a travel window of May 3 to December 18.

Exodus Celebrates Agents With ‘Books For Bookings’ Donations

In honour of Travel Agent Appreciation Month, adventure tour operator Exodus Travels is celebrating the positive impact of tourism by trading ‘Books for Bookings’ in support of the Ou River Book Boat.

Based in Nong Kiaw, Laos, the Book Boat serves 44 villages along the Ou River by delivering a regular supply of books, school supplies, educational games, and basic hygiene provisions such as soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes to rural villages that are mostly inaccessible by road.

For every booking made in the month of May, Exodus will make a donation in each booking agent’s name to Baraka Community Partnerships to fund this positive initiative.
