Transat Commits to Transatlantic
Tour Operator John Kirk November 07, 2017

Senior members of the travel trade in Toronto were hosted by Transat where they laid out their 2018 summer Europe and Middle East product line up.
Guest gathered at Cirillo Culinary Academy in Toronto for an unusual twist on a lunch event. Attendees were put into groups and set off to prepare their respective lunch. Each group was tasked with preparing a meal from each of the Transat transatlantic destinations and when all the meals were complete, the groups feasted.
Transat’s programme offers a vast selection of packages, tours, cruises and à la carte options for individual travellers and groups. With even more flights to France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and Israel, Transat will make getting there that much easier. The increase in lift reasserts Transat position as the Canadian leader in the transatlantic market covering over 28 destinations from several major Canadian gateways, with direct service and connecting flights.
Air Transat, which claimed the title of “Best North American Leisure Airline” six years in a row, also offers a very unique and flexible multi destination option. Customers can land in one European city and depart from another at no extra cost or additional fees.

And building on the success of the 2017 debut of their Tel Aviv flights, the airline will continue to offer departures three times per week from Montreal, with once weekly connections from Toronto, but will start the service earlier in 2018.
There are more than 80 packages, 81 to be exact, in Transat’s 2018 transatlantic programme including six cycling trips, and a fantastic selection of tour and cruise packages.
Agents are encouraged to take advantage of various “Early Booking” promotions that are currently available. Travellers can take advantage of reduced deposits amounts, travel credits, Price Drop guarantees, and even free transfers when purchasing Europe packages, cruises and tours.
