Transat Bring Cubamania to Toronto
Tour Operator August 09, 2019

Transat is inviting Greater Toronto to catch the wave of Cubamania throughout August. From August 8 to 31, Transat’s Cubamania truck will be crisscrossing the Greater Toronto Area to spread the joy of vacations by giving away popsicles and a chance to win one of three all-inclusive vacation packages for families of four to Cuba, and gift cards worth up to $1,000.
The GTA should be on the lookout for Transat’s Cubamania truck as it travels from Parkdale to Queen West to Kensington Market, with stops in Mississauga and Etobicoke too. What’s more, the truck will be at the Lamport Stadium Fan Zone on August 10 and 17, at around noon.
“Transat has seven Transat destinations in Cuba, many of which are offered year-round. The island is very popular among Canadians and an important part of our business. Each year, we strive to highlight the destination in new, original ways, as we’ve done with this festive summer campaign,” explains Genevieve LeBrun, Vice President of Marketing at Transat. “We’re inviting people from the Greater Toronto Area to join us for a frozen treat. And, of course, to start dreaming of a Cuban getaway this winter.”
In recent years, Transat has found several creative ways to showcase Cuba, including an activation where would-be taxi riders who climbed into a typical vintage-style Cuban cab were surprised with tickets to an all-inclusive vacation package to the island country.
