Transat has announced its August winners in its 10-month Surprise Dates contest to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary.
Each of the following agents has won a trip for two, including Air Transat flights in economy class, and a one-week all-inclusive stay down south.
- Janice Dennison of CAA Travel located in Brantford, Ontario, (Ontario-Atlantic region) has won a trip to Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- Beverly Harbour of Carlson Wagonlit Travel located in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Western Canada region) has won a trip to Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla, in Cancun, Mexico
Nicole Marion of Marlin Travel Embrun near Ottawa (Quebec-Ottawa region) has won a trip to Paradisus Cancun, in Mexico (Nicole Marion).
$30 in Bonbon rewards were also awarded, following a random draw among all participants, as follows; Louise Massia of Sears Travel Service located in Mississauga, Ontario and Gayle D'Costa of Transat Travel located in Markham, Ontario (Ontario-Atlantic region); Joanne Poirier of Transat Travel located in Edmonton, Alberta and Dan Dunn of Flight Centre - Commercial Drive located in Vancouver British Columbia (Western Canada); and.Alain Proulx of Voyages Evasion Monde in Quebec City and Isabelle Bergeron of Voyages Laurier Du Vallon also in Quebec City (Québec-Ottawa region).
The August Surprise Date was August 8, the same date in 2013 on which Air Transat became the world’s first airline to renew its IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) registration based on the enhanced E-IOSA methodology. Over the years, Air Transat has maintained its leadership in safety management by meeting the highest international safety and operational management standards.
Transat has now given out 21 trips for two this year to mark its 30th anniversary, seven from each from each of Transat’s three Canadian regions: Ontario-Atlantic, Western Canada and Quebec-Ottawa.
Transat’s next “surprise date” will be in September and Transat will notify agents on the morning the date is announced that for each Transat flight, package, or cruise sold that day, agents will earn one chance to win a trip.
The draws will be held on predetermined (but secret) milestone dates in Transat’s history. There is no need to register the reservations since the contest entries are automatically made as soon as a consultant anywhere in Canada sells a Transat flight, package or cruise on the surprise day.
