Transat Announces First Winners in Surprise Dates Contest
Tour Operator Brian Simpson February 22, 2017

Transat announced the names of the first round of winners in its "Surprise Dates" contest, part of the company’s 30th-anniversary celebrations. The winners are:
* Linda Francis of Stewart Travel Services in Peterborough, Ontario (Ontario/Atlantic region)
* Kyla Coe of the AMA Travel agency in Camrose, Alberta (Western Canada region
* Mijanou Lanctôt of the CWT Nicole & Cie travel agency in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec.
Winners each receive a one-week all-inclusive stay at the brand-new Majestic Mirage Punta Cana Beach Resort, Golf, Casino & Spa and Economy Class flights on Air Transat.
Transat also awarded $30 in Bonbon rewards to these agents, selected by random draw; Kevin Dupuis of Tripcentral.ca, New Sudbury Shopping Centre (Ontario/Atlantic region), Robert Dykeman of Transat Travel Church St. (Ontario/Atlantic region), Keith McFarlane of Marlin Travel Nanaimo (Western Canada), Kim Buckle of Roblin Travel (Western Canada), Anne-Marie Angers of CAA Voyages Ste-Foy (Quebec region), Marie-Josée Potvin of Club Voyages Marinair (Quebec region).
To mark its 30th anniversary, from February to November Transat has preselected a ‘secret’ milestone date each month, from throughout Transat’s history. The first ‘surprise date’ was Feb. 13, the day in 1987 when Transat was formally incorporated. Transat will notify agents on the morning of each ‘surprise date’ that any Transat flight, package, or cruise sold that day will earn agents one chance to win a trip.
Three winners will be drawn from among eligible travel consultants in three Canadian regions – one in Quebec, one in Ontario-Atlantic and in Western Canada.
Transat’s "Surprise Dates" contest continues throughout the year and is open to consultants anywhere in Canada
