Sunwing Increases Winter Flight Capacity to Saint Lucia
Tour Operator Monica Poling October 14, 2016

Ready for a Caribbean getaway? Sunwing has just announced it will be brining back its popular weekend service from Toronto to Saint Lucia. The non-stop flights will depart every Saturday from January 28, 2017 until April 29, 2017.
“Toronto Pearson’s strong passenger traffic growth over the last few years is in a large part the result of our commitment to giving travellers more choice when it comes to world-class destinations across the globe,” said Craig Bradbrook, Vice President, Aviation Services, Toronto Pearson International Airport. “Of course, our valued airline partnerships are vital to delivering on this promise. I congratulate Sunwing on their addition of the Saint Lucia route and thank them for sharing Toronto Pearson’s vision of bringing the world to our passengers.”
The flight commences just as two new luxury all-inclusive resorts open in Saint Lucia, including the Royalton Saint Lucia Resort & Spa and Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia. Both opening ahead of schedule, the resorts originally anticipated a grand opening on Feb. 1, 2017. Instead, both properties are opening Jan. 15, 2017.
“Royalton Luxury Resorts is one of our top partners and we are delighted to hear that both these new resorts will be completed ahead of schedule,” said Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations for Sunwing. “We are sure that these two new additions – the first two Royalton Luxury Resorts to be built on Saint Lucia - will be well received. The news that we are adding flights from Toronto could not come at a better time.”
