Research seems to indicate that Canadians, who are carefully watching their loonies this summer, are skipping international travel in favour of exploring domestic lands. Apparently someone forgot to share that information with Sunquest, who just announced it is introducing 17 new routes from Canada to its most popular sun destinations.
“We wanted to give our travel agent partners access to new and exciting routes while at the same time offering them the lowest possible prices” said Zeina Gedeon, CEO of TravelBrands Inc. “We also wanted to make it very simple for our travel agents to access these discounted deals.”
The new routes include favourite Canadian getaway destinations such as Montego Bay, Punta Cana and Antiqua, with departures from first-tier and regional airports across Canada, including Calgary, Alta., London, Ont. and Moncton, N.B.
The 17 new routes run between the following cities:
Antigua
London, Quebec City, Winnipeg
Liberia, Costa Rica
Edmonton, Ottawa
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Deer Lake, Fredericton
Turks and Caicos
Calgary, Halifax, London, Moncton, Quebec City, St. John’s, Thunder Bay
Punta Cana
Fredericton, Gander
St. Lucia
St. John’s
“We are encouraging our travel agent partners to take advantage of these amazing offers, and as always collect Loyalty Points to reward themselves today!” said Gedeon.
