Air Canada Vacations (ACV) normally charges $79 per person for its CareFree Plan. But for a limited time, the tour operator is offering the plan to travellers for only $49 per person. Considering that seat selection alone normally costs $40 per person on a roundtrip flight, that’s a significant savings. And they've also put Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva in Montego Bay on sale this week.

Air Canada Vacations’ CareFree Plan includes seat selection, year-round Price Drop Guarantee, StormGuard and a $50 waiver on administrative change fees - a total value of $339 in savings, according to ACV, and is intended to provide travellers with “with more peace of mind when booking their holidays to select destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean” says an ACV press release. And it’s commissionable to agents at 5 per cent.

“We want to take the hassle out of planning a vacation, so we came up with CareFree to make things easier and more flexible,” said Nino Montagnese, managing director, Air Canada Vacations.

ACV’s Price Drop Guarantee is a one-time, cash back offer of up to $200 per passenger if the price of a package drops after booking. And StormGuard lets clients rebook their vacation if the US National Hurricane Center declares a tropical storm warning within 72 hours of their scheduled departure.

In other ACV news, the tour operator is offering an End of Summer Sale promotion at both the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall and the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica, offering special pricing for one week only, until August 7, 2017, for travel dates between August 15 and October 4, 2017. The promotion is applicable to packages only and can be combined with the KIDS FREE offer at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, on select dates.

Both the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall and the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall are 5-star properties, part of the Family  and Adult collections respectively. And both are also part of Air Canada Vacations’ Spotlight Collection, which entitles ACV’s guests to a welcome gift as well as a 20% spa discount and 10% off a romantic dinner per room.
