Emma Madsen Returns to Jamaica Tourist Board

Emma Madsen is back to lead the Jamaican Tourist Board’s sales efforts in Western Canada, Philip Rose, regional director in Canada for the Jamaica Tourist Board, announced today.
“We are happy to have Ms. Madsen re-join our team,” said Philip Rose. “She has an impeccable track record for selling Jamaica and excellent relationships in Western Canada.”
With her November 1 appointment, Madsen will be responsible for developing the JTB’s sales initiatives in Western Canada, a role Madsen held previously from 2009 to 2013. Madsen is an industry veteran and expert on Jamaica and prior roles include Business Development Manager for Sunwing Vacations and Sunquest/Holiday House. She began her career in the travel industry in 2000 as a reservations agent at Fun Sun Vacations.
Madsen is based in Calgary, Alberta, and is responsible for sales in the western provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) is Jamaica’s national tourism agency based in the capital city of Kingston and was named the Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board by the World Travel Awards (WTA) from 2006 to 2016.
