Deanna Lambert Appointed President of Contiki Holidays Canada

Marketing executive Deanna Lambert will be taking on a new role as president of Contiki Holidays Canada. Contiki, which organizes group travel for the youth market (ages 18-35), is one of the leading handlers of the lucrative millennial generation. The company emphasizes travel that is about discovery, epic moments and making every second count.
“Contiki Canada continues to innovate in the millennial market and we are thrilled to welcome Deanna in her new role with her extensive marketing and digital background,” said Jeff Element, president of Contiki Holidays Canada’s parent company, the Travel Corporation Canada, “In the coming weeks, I will be personally introducing Deanna to our valued agent partners.”
Lambert previous served as the director of brand & digital strategy at the Toronto-based marketing agency TRAFFIKGroup. There Lambert worked with a number of high-profile clients, including BBDO, Harley Davidson, Diageo Canada, Canadian Tire, Loblaw Corp, Sportchek/Forzani, President’s Choice Financial and Pepsi FritoLay. She analysed why people make the choices they make and created marketing campaigns that aligned with those behaviours.
“I’ve always been passionate about the benefits of travel, and as my former clients and teammates know, I’m also very passionate about what the benefits of a customer-centric marketing approach can bring to brands and businesses,” said Lambert. “I am very excited to be able to unite those two passions, and I couldn’t be happier to have joined the fantastic and welcoming team at Contiki and The Travel Corporation Canada.”
Beginning November 2016, former Contiki Canada president, Brad Ford will join Lion World Travel as president, where he will work closely with Lucille Sive, CEO of Lion World Travel and African Travel. Prior to the transition, Ford intends to take advantage of the Contiki #NoRegrets campaign he helped develop by travelling to some of his wish list destinations across the globe.
Lambert will be based in the Travel Corporation Canada’s Toronto office.
