Impacting Travel Brian Simpson March 31, 2017

Toronto Public Health (TPH) has confirmed three cases of measles in the Toronto area and some members of the travelling public may have been exposed to measles on several flights during the period of March 19 to 30, 2017.
While there is no cause for alarm, according to TPH, travellers on any of the affected flights are urged to check the immunization records of all family members to ensure they are up to date with the measles vaccination (MMR or MMRV). “Those born before 1970 are considered protected against measles.” According to TPH.
Flights where possible exposure to measles may have occurred are:
March 19
- EK517, departed Delhi, India at 4:12 pm and arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at 6:13 pm
