Computer Glitch Causes Air Canada Delays

A technical glitch attributed to “computer issues” has delayed an undetermined number of Air Canada flights nationwide.

A statement sent to CTVNews.ca from Air Canada spokesperson Peter Fitzpatrick apologized for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience.
“Air Canada is experiencing a computer issue that is affecting airport, online and mobile check-in, and some flights may be delayed as a result. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate our customers’ patience as we work to resolve this issue and get everyone on their way as quickly as possible.”
As of 2 p.m. (EST) the issue was apparently corrected and Air Canada tweeted that issue had been resolved.
Check-in at airports, online & mobile now resolved. We’re now getting everyone on their way. We apologize & thank you for your patience!
