Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel Completes $120 Million Renovation

The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Canada’s flagship Sheraton property has completed a two-year, $120 million renovation. The overhaul included a complete re-do of all 1,372 guest rooms and suites as well as an expansion and refresh of its function space and meeting rooms.
“Toronto has blossomed into becoming one of the top destinations for both leisure and business travelers alike, and an important market for the Sheraton brand to be represented in,” said Bob Jacobs, Vice President of Brand Management, Sheraton North America. “This renovation underscores our focus on continuously enhancing our portfolio, as well as evolving the guest experience to deliver an effortless travel experience for our guests.”
Upgrades to the guestrooms include new carpeting, drapery, and soft furnishings as well as brand-new 55” LG® LED flat screen televisions. Bedside tables are now equipped with electrical outlets for to appease late-night tech binges and each room also features bedside docking stations. The bathrooms have also been renovated, and now feature low-flow toilets, shower heads and aerated faucets. Many now come with new walk-in showers. The 300 Club Level guest rooms have brand new custom-designed beds from Simmons® as well as new, higher-efficiency refrigerators.

The hotel is home to two new ballrooms, the Willow and Provincial, for a combined total of 130,000 square feer of meeting and event space.
New technology with a revamped wireless Internet infrastructure and new access points, means the hotel is home to the fastest Internet and largest bandwidth among Greater Toronto area hotels.
