A sun-soaked getaway to the Mexican Caribbean has become a little easier this week with the announcement that Oasis Hotels & Resorts is expanding its distribution in Canada. The popular all-inclusive resort brand, with eight properties in Cancun and Tulum, will begin offering vacation packages through Air Canada Vacations and Transat Holidays.
Oasis, which has said it is looking to grow its "lucrative" Canadian audience, is planning to combine its all-inclusive offerings with the extensive airlift options, both charter and scheduled, available through Air Canada and Air Transit. Oasis will also continue to work with its existing partner, Sunwing Vacations.
“Oasis has had great success serving Canada exclusively through Sunwing for the past three and a half years,” said Enrique Klein, vice president, sales & marketing at Oasis Hotels & Resorts. “Oasis Hotels & Resorts has worked to increase its brand presence in both the United States and Canada significantly, and these new strategic partnerships with Air Canada Vacations and Transat Holidays provide us the opportunity to further increase our brand presence in this lucrative market.”
The year has been one of change for Oasis Hotels & Resorts. The company has invested more than US$100 million in renovating its properties and enhancing its amenities. It is also focused on elevating its entertainment and gastronomic offerings. Three of the highest-rated restaurants in Cancun are part of the Oasis family. New group travel offerings and a signature bridal program, O Weddings by Oasis, were also launched earlier this year.
Oasis properties include: The Pyramid at Grand Oasis, Grand Oasis Cancun, Grand Oasis Tulum, Grand Oasis Palm, Oasis Palm, Grand Oasis Sens, Oh! By Oasis and Oasis Smart.
