The Riu Palace Macao Hotel is undergoing a revitalization and will emerge with a whole new look this fall.

The resort, part of RIU's five-hotel Punta Cana Complex, is the only adults-only property among them.

Situated on the white sands of Macao Beach, adjacent to the world-famous Bavaro Beach, the resort will offer a new way to relax with refreshed common areas, newly designed guestrooms, Mixologist at the lobby bar, daily signature drinks, a new sports bar, a new wine menu and a new spa for all guests at the RIU Punta Cana complex.

In addition to the new upgrades, there is a whole new experience for travelers coming to Riu Palace Macao Hotel. Elite Club by RIU allows guests to upgrade their entire stay with exclusive access to the resort.

Elite Club guests receive premium room locations. They have access to an exclusive lounge in the lobby and special beach access with a private bar. Guests of the Elite Club also get access to Premium branded drinks at selected bars and an upgraded in-room liquor dispenser with premium brands. Rooms also have upgraded minibars with special snacks and a bottle of wine. Rooms feature aromatherapy, and guests receive a welcome gift.

Elite Club guests receive special wristbands, a dedicated check-in area and a confirmed late checkout as well as early check-in if available.

Keeping busy will be easy at the Riu Palace Macao Hotel. Guests have access to the full complex and that includes the brand-new spa as well as Splash Water World water park and #RiuParty events held at the Riu resort in Punta Cana.

Outdoor sports are available at the resort as is a gym so that guests can maintain their fitness. Guests can go snorkelling, play beach volleyball, go windsurfing or kayaking.

There are six restaurants at the Riu Palace Macao Hotel. The main restaurant features a buffet with live cooking stations and themed evening cuisines. A la carte restaurants include Japanese, Italian and fusion dishes.

Guestrooms have been reimagined. There are more than 360 rooms and they feature televisions with in-room TV casting from guests' personal devices as well as drinks dispensers, a coffee maker, air conditioning and more.

Elite Club has its own room categories that include Junior Suite Deluxe Swim Out Elite Club and the Junior Suite Deluxe Elite Club. These rooms are 40 square meters with king-size beds, sofas in a lounge area and hydromassage tubs.

The property is currently under renovation and is scheduled to debut its new look on September 9, 2023.
