TravelPulse Canada was on hand last night for the 2022 AIC Hotel Group Showstopper Awards for top-producing agents and tour operators at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana.

It was a big night for several Canadian advisors, who took their turn in the spotlight, taking home awards for their hard-rocking sales efforts in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Nobody throws a party like Hard Rock. On the first night of the event, travel agents were treated to a Rock Star Chef dinner experience curated by chef Angel Vasquez of Mexico City. Each dish was exclusively curated blending Mexican flavours with Dominican staples and locally sourced ingredients.

That was followed by a ‘Lip Sync Battle’ led by Ash Tembe, VP of Sales at AIC Hotel Group, where BDMs and travel agents went head to head.

The awards ceremony was hosted by AIC Hotel Group BDMs Luke Majewski and Cassidy Karnes, and the evening ended in Grammy Award style as three-time winner Ma$e took the stage to close out the night.
