Beaches Turks & Caicos, one of the top resorts in the Caribbean, has re-opened its doors, with “new and exciting features” that include new food trucks at the waterpark and Beaches’ first Indian restaurant.
The resort, operated by Sandals Resort International, was closed following Hurricane Irma but is back and offering their “luxury Included vacation for everyone and family-focussed brand.”
“We know how important vacation time is so we’re just delighted that Beaches Turks & Caicos is not only reopening its doors but that we’ve also introduced some amazing new features, making this award-winning resort better than ever,” said Gordon “Butch” Stewart, Founder and Chairman of Sandals Resorts International. “The entire resort has been refreshed and our staff is eagerly awaiting the arrival of our guests.”
The resort has expanded its “5-star Global Gourmet” offerings by including Beaches’ first Indian restaurant, Bombay Club. That brings the total number of restaurants to 21. Guests also will be able to indulge in goodies from two new food trucks at the waterpark. Mr. Mac will serve up hearty mac & cheese, while Curls ‘n Swirls will serve “the island’s most delicious ice cream.”
Families will be able to take part in new food adventures happening every night, including a fish fry on Wednesdays and weekly beach parties with live, Caribbean entertainment and cuisine from around the world. On top of that, Beaches Turks & Caicos will debut new entertainment experiences for the whole family as part of its state-of-the-art Xbox Play Lounge, including the new Xbox One X, where guests of all ages can experience immersive, true 4K gaming on what’s billed as the world’s most powerful console.
Accommodations have been improved across all five of the resort’s village, and new finishing touches have been applied to lobbies and public areas.
The Sandals Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Beaches Resorts’ parent company, Sandals Resorts International, was deeply involved in the recovery effort following Hurricane Irma. The Sandals Foundation and team members from Beaches Turks & Caicos partnered with the Salvation Army and the Red Cross to deliver desperately needed food items to victims of one of the most powerful hurricanes in history. The Sandals Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the communities where SRI operates throughout the Caribbean. One hundred per cent of the monies contributed to the Sandals Foundation go directly to programs benefitting the Caribbean. To learn more, or to see how you can help, visit www.sandalsfoundation.org.
