Ash Tembe AIC VP, Talks Limitless
Hotel & Resort All-Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels Marsha Mowers August 30, 2018

AIG Group announced earlier this week that they were ending their resort credits and going fully all-inclusive at its Hard Rock Hotels of Mexico and the Dominican Republic. TravelPulse Canada spoke with Ash Tembe, Vice President of Global Field Sales at AIC Hotel Group who said the reason behind the change was to simplify things for both travelers and agents.
“Resort credits vary tremendously across competitive resorts, and come in all different coupons, shapes and sizes.” says Tembe. “We were in a sales meeting and were discussing our offerings in more detail and even I was getting confused. So we all decided to stop the confusion and go LIMITLESS and make it easier for everyone.”
The move isn’t all that shocking considering the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels are known for being industry trailblazers continually breaking out of the sea of sameness. The concept had been well received at the hotel’s UNICO 20.87 property in the Mayan Rivera he says, and so the decision was made to expand it across the Hard Rock properties.
Tembe says the company is known for pushing the envelope when it comes to providing unique vacation experiences and the Limitless All-Inclusive will be no exception. Guests will soon enjoy activities like golf at Jack Nicklaus and Robert von Hagge designed Hard Rock courses, select Rock Spa treatments, tours and excursions, POSH Beauty Salon, barber shop services and more included in the stay.
Limitless All-Inclusive replaces the use of resort credit, presenting guests with unlimited access to each of these amenities for a 25 percent service fee.
“It’s an opportunity for the agent to show value when booking clients,” says Tembe. “The activities guests will have to pay at other hotels will now be included at Hard Rock.”
Limitless All-Inclusive will make its debut with bookings from Sept. 15, 2018, for travel beginning Jan. 6, 2019, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta and Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos (coming in 2019).
