Just 30 minutes from Playa Del Carmen, the all-inclusive Grand Palladium Riviera Maya offers something for everyone and is the perfect destination for couples and families who are looking to experience the best that the Riviera Maya has to offer.
Accommodations. With three categories of rooms, the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya can suit parties of any size and configuration. Junior Suites feature a king size or two double beds, plus a sofa bed, making it ideal for small families or couples and newlyweds. The Wellness Junior Suite is perfect for couples and features a Jacuzzi as well as a personalized fitness program, access to the spa and a couple’s massage. In addition, guests can enjoy a romantic dinner with a menu designed exclusively for them. Spacious suites are ideal of families thanks to separate sleeping and living quarters.
Dining and drinks. Even guests who like to try something new every night will be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. The Grand Palladium Riviera Maya features five buffet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Come dinner time, guests have a tougher decision thanks to a host of different thematic restaurants from which to choose. Whether it’s traditional pasta and other Italian fare in the Portofino, Spanish-style tapas at La Lola, traditional Mexican cuisine at La Adelita, steaks at El Dorado or Japanese teppanyaki at the Sumptuori, guests can take an around-the-world-trip each night. Other options include Chang Thai Restaurant, Ribs & More, and the Punta Emilia for beachside dining. And when a little liquid refreshment is what’s called for the options are endless, ranging from swim-up bars to lobby and sports bars.

Activities. Enjoy the pool and beach by day with a dazzling array of watersports and activities and take in live shows and music by night. There truly is something for everyone (there’s even a crocodile feeding exhibition!). The resort also features one of the area’s most complete wellness centers. Not surprising then that in addition to the usual treatments such as massage and mani/pedis, the Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness center features a state-of-the-art fitness center, Jacuzzi, sauna and vapor baths that are guaranteed to take away any lingering stress. In addition to standard massage techniques such as reflexology and Swedish massage, guests may wish to sample hydromassage techniques, an eco-meditative cold bath or the waterfalls.
Family time. Family time is certainly fun time but it’s also true that sometimes parents (and children) need a break. The Grand Palladium Riviera Maya has it figured out with a host of facilities designed to please its younger guests while giving their parents peace of mind. The Baby Club (for children 1 to 3) offers indoor and outdoor play areas supervised by highly trained caregivers. For children 4 to 12, there is the El Ranchito Mini Club, featuring indoor and outdoor play areas, video games, arts and crafts and even an eco-tour that teaches children about the culture and flora and fauna of the area. Older children will enjoy the Black & White Junior’s Club. Designed just for teens (up to 19), this lounge offers a break from parents and a chance to play games and mingle.
