150 Hotel Stays in Canada Could Be Won from Fairmont Hotels
Hotel & Resort Scott Laird May 23, 2017

Canada is a great country to visit…even if you live here.
Whether you’re a Canadian striking out to see more of what your homeland has to offer—our nation spans more time zones than the Continental United States, after all—or an American taking advantage of your northern neighbour's natural beauty, you're often just steps away from the world-class hospitality and globally inspired dining of the country’s vibrantly cosmopolitan cities.
Anybody with an affinity for the globe’s second largest nation has much to celebrate this summer when the land that aims for “peace, order, and good government” celebrates 150 years of confederation.
Fairmont Hotels is an iconic Canadian company whose predecessor, Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts, is nearly as old as the confederation itself. (The history and growth of Canada are inexorably linked with railroads.)
With hotels across the country and around the world, it’s only fitting that Fairmont is celebrating Canada’s sesquicentennial by giving away 150 hotel stays at the company’s Canadian properties.
Through May 31, 2017, residents of Canada and the United States can visit a special sweepstakes site and enter to win one of 150 stays at a Fairmont property in Canada—awarded in the form of an e-voucher—or a grand prize of a trip for two to Montréal. This includes roundtrip airfare, three nights at the newly refurbished Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel and a $150 hotel credit.
There’s no shortage of great Fairmont properties to choose from, either, with city escapes like the Royal York in Toronto or the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, to great outdoor adventures at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
And the famous Fairmont Empress in Victoria—Canada’s most British city—will have completed Phase 2 of a large-scale restoration project by the end of May, just in time for the anniversary celebrations.
For details, visit Fairmont’s sweepstakes site.
