Sustainability and increasing tourism in Portugal to beyond just its coast are two key factors the country is focusing on for 2023.

TravelPulse Canada’s John Kirk met with Nuno Fazenda, Secretary of State for Portugal, at the country’s trade marketplace this week. Tourism is responsible for 20% of their economy, with Canada (and North America) playing a big role in that due to proximity, our friendship and our familiarity with the country’s gastronomy and wine.
