In every Canadian province and territory, there are adventures and activities that so uniquely define the local culture, that they have been selected to represent the nation’s tourism industry in a best-of-the-best list known as Canadian Signature Experiences. From grizzly bear viewing in British Columbia to grooming a Mountie’s horse in Alberta to lobster fishing in Prince Edward Island, nearly 200 activities have been selected by Destination Canada, the country’s official tourism marketing organization, to appear on this prestigious list.
"Canada has so many exciting travel and tourism opportunities to offer Canadians and the world," said the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism. "This unique collection shows off Canada's rich tapestry of experiences to visitors from around the world while supporting local jobs and the economy."
With a country as diverse and complex as Canada, it’s can hardly come as a surprise that the CSE list itself is an ever-evolving membership. This month, Destination Canada has announced that ten new members have been added to the CSE collection
"By adding new members to this curated collection of experiences, we continue to enrich the story of Canada for our international visitors,” said David F. Goldstein, DC president and CEO.
