Some of Disney’s most beloved characters are taking to the skies at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this holiday season, as they appear in an all-new, turbo-charged nighttime spectacular. “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!,” which premieres at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Nov. 14, takes place on, around and above the theme park’s Chinese Theatre, and includes state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and even snow.
As the story unfolds, it becomes evident that Santa has gone missing and a variety of Disney characters are banding together to get Santa back to the North Pole in time for Christmas. The search ream is led by elves Wayne and Lanny from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” on their mission to find Santa.
Capping off the festivities is a new musical score with familiar holiday tunes, but all featuring an original twist. Moments from such Disney films as “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” and eeven Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” all make an appearance in this tale of holiday joy.
A special message from Santa Claus caps off the family spectacular.
