Live with Kelly and Ryan Heading to Niagara Falls, Ontario
Destination & Tourism Brian Simpson May 10, 2017

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, stars of daytime TV’s “Live with Kelly and Ryan”, will visit Niagara Falls, Ontario to broadcast two episodes of the show next month to help celebrate Canada 150. The shows will be broadcast from the Oakes Garden Theatre, an outdoor garden with a panoramic view of the American and Horseshoe Falls, which will serve as the backdrop for the show.
The broadcast marks the third time “Live” has broadcast from Niagara Falls and the Oakes Garden Theatre, having broadcast from the location in 1996 and 2006.
“‘Live’ has had a wonderful relationship with the city and the people of Niagara Falls.” said Michael Gelman, executive producer of Live with Kelly and Ryan. “Our two previous visits are among our favorite ‘Live’ remote broadcasts. There are few places on earth with such spectacular natural beauty. The falls provide a stunning backdrop for the show, and the audiences always have been warm and welcoming. We were very happy to be invited back, and are looking forward to returning in June.”
The 2017 trip comes just in time for “Canada 150,” the yearlong celebration commemorating Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.
“There’s nothing like having ‘Live’ coming to your city! Our partners in tourism all came together to make this happen. It has been a true team effort,” said Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls. “We are over the moon and can’t wait to welcome ‘Live’ as part of our Canada 150 Celebrations in Niagara Falls!”
Having a show like “Live with Kelly and Ryan” visit, is a boon for a destination like Niagara Falls, allowing it to showcase itself as not only one of the natural wonders of the world, but a destination with an award-winning wine region, world-class hotels and a wealth of bucket-list attractions.
Viewers are welcome to attend one of the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” broadcasts in Niagara Falls. Ticket information is available on the Niagara Falls page of the “Live” website, KellyondRyan.com but hurry, because they probably won't last long.
