Great food. And now easier access.
TheSt. Kitts Tourism Authority announced the expansion of Air Canada Vacations service to a full house of Tripcentral travel professionals who were attending the second annual St. Kitts Culinary event last week at Cirillo's Culinary Academy in Toronto.
Sold out two years in a row, the event is a highly interactive cooking experience that has agents creating recipes from popular Kittitian restaurants, all while learning about the amazing dining scene in both St. Kitts and Nevis.
Paul Minich, Market Consultant for The St. Kitts Tourism Authority in Canada, hosted the evening- and used the opportunity to feature two key messages in his presentation- the exciting news, just released this week, that Air Canada Vacations has added a second flight to the destination, and that the dining scene in St. Kitts is an experience not to be missed.
During the brief but impactful presentation, Minich mentioned that ACV expanded service to SKB to six months for 2019 which was a reflection of growing demand by Canadians for St. Kitts. "And now heading into 2020 that six months Saturday direct service will also be complemented by direct service from Toronto on Tuesdays commencing February 4 to April 21, 2020,” he said. “We are experiencing strong growth from Canada and this expansion of service is very significant to the destination. We are thrilled."
On the culinary front, St Kitts was presented as an excellent destination for travellers who may be experiencing "All- Inclusive Fatigue" as Minich stated- suggesting that travellers want more of an experiential vacation, and sampling the amazing diversity of restaurants in St. Kitts is certainly part of the St. Kitts vacation experience.
