Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has announced plans to convert River Beatrice to S.S. Beatrice, via an extensive bow-to-stern renovation, making Beatrice the fifth Super Ship in Uniworld’s fleet.
“We are thrilled to re-launch the S.S. Beatrice as our first vessel to be upgraded to a Super Ship,” said Uniworld’s president & CEO, Ellen Bettridge. “Uniworld is committed to providing the utmost in luxury and following the successful launch of the S.S. Joie de Vivre earlier this year, we are eager to introduce yet another remarkable Super Ship to Europe’s waterways."
Uniworld will once again work with the design team from sister brand, Red Carnation Hotels, who will be tasked with adding their design touch to Beatrice. All public spaces and rooms will be redesigned, including original artwork and the latest innovations and high-tech amenities available on the rivers.
“The S.S. Beatrice will debut a fresh, sleek look with a graceful bow, redesigned lounge and an elegant grand staircase –a signature design element of Uniworld’s Super Ships.” said a release from Uniworld.
S.S. Beatrice will get two new Royal Suites measuring 35 square metres, as well as an additional Owner’s Suite, and the 12 existing suites will be refreshed, including adding connecting rooms which are ideal for families travelling together.
Uniworld will also add dining venues, including a private space to replace the Captain’s Lounge and Library.
The S.S. Beatrice’s maiden voyage will take place on April 4, 2018.
