Cruise TravelBrands Brian Simpson November 02, 2017

TravelBrands has completed their fifth SeaU onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Anthem of the Seas. Approximately 125 travel agents and 25 team members and suppliers, were on board for the week-long event which featured training sessions, workshops, and seminars as well as raising awareness and funds for hurricane relief. And I'm sure there was more than a little fun taking place also.
“This was our most action-packed SeaU to date.” said Frank DeMarinis, president and CEO of TravelBrands, who was on board. “While we enjoyed our stay, we felt that it was important to give back to the surrounding communities affected by recent natural disasters. Through the generous contributions of travel agents, Royal Caribbean and TravelBrands, we raised $10,000 US towards the Hurricane relief fund.”
Also on board was Nathalie Tanious, TravelBrands' vice president of specialty brands, including Encore Cruises.
SeaU is a comprehensive cruise event is filled with training sessions, workshops and seminars to give agents and partners all the tools necessary to make the best cruise sale. Ten supplier partners presented their products to the 125 travel agents in attendance in both English and French.
The event’s keynote speakers was Azamara Club Cruises president and CEO, Larry Pimentel. Ron Petit from Royal Caribbean Cruises also presented, hosting a seminar on Autism at Sea.
Of course, no SeaU would be complete without prizes and multiple prizes were awarded to agents throughout the sailing.

- Gisèle Boissonneault of Voyages Gaby in Sainte-Thérèse , Quebec won a cruise on the MSC Seaside
