SeaDream Yacht Club has announced its 2020 schedule of Mediterranean cruises. Itineraries will call in the French and Italian Riviera, Greek Isles, Spanish coast, and the Adriatic Sea. Several new ports, land excursions and overnights are featured in the 2020 program.
Both SeaDream I and SeaDream II will return to popular destinations. Changes for 2020 include more stops in Greece and ports on the Adriatic Sea. The line will return to the popular port of Kusadasi, Turkey, where guests can enjoy a concert at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ephesus.
“During our 2020 season, we will return to traditionally popular ports while also incorporating locations away from the crowds,” said Emilio Freeman, SeaDream Yacht Club’s vice president of destinations and revenue management. “Our voyages were designed to provide the best the Mediterranean has to offer and introduce our guests to more intimate towns where they can explore the region’s beauty and culture.”
New ports of call included in SeaDream’s 2020 schedule include Ikaria, Greece, known for its natural beauty. Vis, Croatia is also a new port for the line. Vis is famous for its beaches and as a backdrop for 2018’s “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.”
Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy is located on the tip of the Salento peninsula, the “heel” of Italy’s “boot.” The city is known for its impressive geological formations. And, Koper, Slovenia is a medieval town that’s home to one of the country’s largest cathedrals. Both are new destinations in 2020 for Sea Dream.
Also new for 2020 is Valletta, Malta as a turnaround port for the line. The walled city dates back to the 16th century and is often called “an open-air museum.” The line will also visit Xlendi Bay in the island of Gozo for the first time in 2020. It’s a popular swimming and snorkeling spot in the Maltese archipelago.
Guests interested in extending their time aboard a Sea Dream yacht will have the option of combining back-to-back voyages in 2020.
Before the 2020 Mediterranean season begins, SeaDream Yacht Club will operate in the Caribbean. Highlights will include The Cuba Voyage Collection aboard SeaDream II. Voyages will depart from Havana or Cienfuegos and explore the western side of the island.
