Bookings for the MSC Grandiosa are now open.
MSC Cruises officially opened up bookings for the 6,334-passenger ship, the first in the new Meraviglia-Plus class, to MSC Voyager’s Club members on an exclusive basis. All other guests can book beginning on March 19, 2018.
New and notable features on the MSC Grandiosa include:
– Two custom-created Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, the result of a partnership between the line and Cirque du Soleil.
– An ultra-long Mediterranean-style promenade, 60 feet longer than on the original MSC Meraviglia. The promenade is the ship’s social hub, lined with shops, specialty restaurants and a new bar and lounge, called L’Atelier Bistrot. Evoking a Parisian bistro, L’Atelier will host surprise performances, themed parties and offer prime views of the day and night scenes above, as projected on the promenade’s 323-ft. LED “Sky” screen.
The ship will also feature 12 dining venues and an elaborate MSC Yacht Club, the line’s exclusive “cruise within a cruise” concept. New family activities include enhanced programs for children in the DOREMI Lab and Studio Lounge.
“At launch, MSC Grandiosa will be the fifth brand-new MSC Cruises ship to have joined our fleet in only two and a half years,” noted Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises.
MSC Grandiosa will sail Western Mediterranean itineraries for its inaugural season in winter 2019-20. It’ll start sailing from Genoa, Italy on Nov. 16, 2019.
MSC Voyagers Club members will receive a special 5 percent early booking discount in addition to their current MSC Voyagers Club 5 percent loyalty discount. All other guests will get a 5 percent early booking discount until Sept. 4, 2018.
