Floating Home for Millionaires on Utopia Cruise
Cruise Alex Temblador November 02, 2018

Luxury travelers may not have to leave their home to travel the world – because their home may just take them around the globe.
It’s called Utopia and it’s a 971-foot long cruise ship with 190 residential units that cost anywhere from $4.4 million to $36 million. Interested parties can choose from two-bedroom upscale residences or luxury units that are 6,500 square feet.
Mockups of the rooms showcase fine fixtures, kitchens decked out in marble countertops and bathrooms with deep tubs and TV sets in mahogany cabinets.
As far as amenities, there will be a private members club on decks 15 and 16 and a luxury restaurant where guests’ preferences like gluten-free or their favorite wines will be registered and remembered.
The ship’s lounge will provide various beverages like martinis and fresh ginger tea. There will also be stores, a casino, nightclub, spa, salon, gym with fitness classes, medical center, and resident boat on the Utopia.

Residents will not be without things to do. Utopia will also offer excursions upon docking at different ports, as well as live music in the lounge, dance or drama performances in the 525-seater theater onboard, and a lecture series with an on-site art historian.
Families are welcome on Utopia. In addition to a Youth Center, kids will have activities and excursions planned by Youth Counselors.
If you don’t have a couple of million dollars lying around the house, you can experience the luxury and lifestyle of Utopia by booking one of the 206 suites in the on-site hotel. This offers travelers at least the opportunity to peek at year-round cruise living, an aspect that's not available on The World, another luxury residence cruise.
Utopia is currently under construction in South Korea.
