Get ready for all sorts of haunted hijinx this fall as Disney Cruise Line sets sail for its annual “spook-tacular” sailings. Most of the cruise line’s itineraries that depart between late September and Halloween include Halloween on the High Seas celebrations that are designed for the whole family.
There are not-actually-that-scary parties and Halloween entertainment and decor throughout the cruise, including:
• Mickey's Mouse-querade Party
Enjoy games, trick-or-treating, dancing and some of your favorite Disney pals decked out in Halloween attire.
• Halloween Activities
Mask-making, pumpkin-carving and other hands-on activities keep guests of all ages entertained.
• Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream
Sing along with Jack and Sally — and Oogie Boogie — during an interactive movie showing followed by a meet-and-greet with your favorite characters.
• Haunted Stories of the Sea
Campfire-style storytelling and tall ghost tales unfold on deck.
• Halloween Isn't Just for Kids
Once the kids are tucked in for the night, head up to the adults-only party and costume contest.
And to really make you scream — with joy — select cruises between Oct. 7 and Oct. 29, 2016, include a savings of 25 per cent just for Canadian travellers. The savings are taken off of prevailing rates for Verandah and Oceanview Staterooms on select 7- or 8-night Disney cruises departing New York City.
In addition to Halloween on the High Seas, all sailings include a stop at Castaway Cay — Disney’s private island — and a day at Walt Disney World Resort, including a Park Hopper Ticket and transportation from the ship.
Eligible cruises include:
7-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise
Set sail from New York on Oct. 15, 22 or 29, 2016 on this ghoulish cruise to Castaway Cay in the Bahamas and Port Canaveral, Florida, where you’ll take in the Halloween action at the Walt Disney World Resort.
8-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise
Departing from New York on Oct. 7, 2016, the cruise includes a stop at Florida’s Port Canaveral for a day at Walt Disney World Resort, before setting sail to visit Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private-island paradise.
Proof of Canada residency will be required upon check-in, and this offer cannot combined with any other discounts or offers. Other restrictions may also apply.
