Disney Cruise Line Adjusts 2020 Commission Levels

Disney Cruise Line announced that it is adjusting its commission rate tiers. Starting January 1, 2019, the cruise line will adjust the 2020 commission rate tiers based on 2019 agency sailing revenue.
In an email to travel agents, Disney noted that, as is common in the travel industry, periodically, commission levels are evaluated and adjustments are made.
The rates will be adjusted to the following levels:
Agencies with revenue less than $78,000 will receive 10 percent commission.
Agencies with revenues between $78,000-$153,999 will receive 11 percent commission.
Revenues between $154,000-$337,999 will receive a rate of 12 percent.
Agencies with revenues between $338,000-$491,999 will receive 13 percent.
Those agencies with revenues between $492,000-$658,999 will receive a 14 percent commission.
Revenues of $659,000 to $1,686,999 will earn a 15 percent commission.
Agencies with revenues higher than $1,687,000 will earn 16 percent.
