Celebrity Cruises has unveiled its new 2019-20 sailings, giving cruise lovers more than 300 destinations to choose from in more than 70 countries.
The new program “opens the world” with “sailings to some of the most dynamic ports across the globe,” officials said. “With more sailings to iconic locales in Asia, including India and Dubai, Australia and North, South and Central America, there’s an option for anyone and everyone aboard Celebrity’s award-winning fleet.”
Here are some highlights for the 2019-20 year:
Celebrity Constellation will cover pretty much all of Asia, from the markets and deserts of Dubai to the jungles and cool cities of Vietnam. Constellation will now depart from Dubai and retrace the ancient Spice Route all the way to Singapore on Celebrity’s Own Best of India and Sri Lanka itinerary, a great change for cruisers who’ve visited Europe or Southeast Asia. Stops along the way include Goa, Mumbai, Colombo in Sri Lanka and more, with an excursion to the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra.
Celebrity Eclipse will again return to South America for the 2019-20 season, with visits to nearly 30 destinations in 11 countries, and more overnight stays to allow guests to linger in some of the continent’s greatest cities. Guests can check out the tango in Buenos Aires or the lively scene on Ipanema Beach in Brazil. Other bucket-list adventures include exploring Iguazu Falls and touring the Osorno Volcano, as well as checking out the tip of Antarctica. Celebrity Eclipse also will visit Hawaii, offering 10 to 12-night sailings between Vancouver and Honolulu, as well as make a 15-night round-trip sailing from Los Angeles.
Celebrity Infinity will be taking two 15-night sailing journeys between Ft. Lauderdale and San Diego for their Panama Canal crossing. Not only can guests travel through the original canal locks, they also can visit great tropical destinations such as Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas and the incredible colonial architecture in Cartagena.
Celebrity Millenium in 2019-20 will offer awesome vacations throughout the Far East and Southeast Asia, with departures from Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore and more sailings that allow guests to experience Japan prior to the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. Guests will enjoy redesigned staterooms and renovated public venues on the Millenium.
Celebrity Solstice heads back to Australia and New Zealand in 2019-20, visiting more than 30 over-the-top destinations in the land Down Under with more overnight stays in more cities than before and more stays longer than 12 hours. They’re also adding a new port of call; the charming town of Eden in New South Wales. Other Solstice stops include Milford Sound and Wellington in New Zealand, plus Melbourne, Sydney and Cairns in Australia, as well as the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef. Solstice also will offer 10-night sailings between Vancouver and Honolulu, with overnight stays in both Oahu and Maui and visits to both sides of Hawaii, the Big Island.
Valued Captain’s Club members have early priority access to their vacation planning two days before the 2019-20 sailings are open to the public on Thursday, Dec. 14.
