The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) and WestJet Airlines have entered into a Corporate Partnership agreement.
The partnership, which runs through 2017, allows WestJet to connect with ACTA’s 1,800-plus travel agency members and more than 12,000 travel agents and highlights ACTA and WestJet’s shared commitment to support travel agents and the travel agency community.
“At WestJet, we recognize the importance of our partnerships with travel agents. That’s why we are pleased to develop this partnership with ACTA,” said Lyell Farquharson, WestJet Vice-President, Sales & Distribution. “The travel trade plays a vital role in WestJet’s success and future growth, and we look forward to collaborating with ACTA to ensure the success of travel agents across Canada.”
"It's an honor and pleasure to welcome WestJet as an ACTA Corporate Partner," said Wendy Paradis, President of ACTA. "With the airline industry being one of the fastest evolving segments in our market, we are pleased to be connecting our members and sharing their collective voice with WestJet and their agency sales team throughout the country."
