Sunwing Flight Attendants Ratify Agreement
Airlines & Airports Brian Simpson February 24, 2017

Sunwing announced today that members of Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 4055, which represents the airline's flight attendants, have ratified the tentative agreement reached on Jan. 28.
In mid-January, 94.6 per cent of members voted to give their union a strong strike mandate, but with this ratification vote, union members accepted the terms of the new agreement, which will remain in force for five years.
“Our flight attendants are a key part of our workforce, and we look forward to planning for a successful future together now that we have been able to finalize this important agreement.”, said Mark Williams, President of Sunwing Airlines.
