Qatar Celebrates Five Years in Canada with Sale, Contest

Qatar Airways is celebrating its fifth anniversary of service from Montreal today

As part of the anniversary celebration, the airline is offering a limited-time sale to some of its most popular destinations, including Dubai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Bombay and Delhi.
The airline’s routes, which connect through the award-winning hub at Hamad International Airport have become popular with Canadians long haul travellers. Qatar Airways offers some of the shortest connection times for Canadian travellers to the Far East. Service between Montreal and Doha, for example, is just 12 hours and with a minimum connection time of just 45 minutes. the lowest in the industry.
The special fares start from C$ 1,050 for round trip, economy class service between Montreal and Dubai. Special fares must be booked by July 1, 2016 for travel from Sept. 18, 2016 through June 10, 2017. Travellers can view more fare information at www.qatarairways.com/ca/en/offers/global-promotion.
The airline is also launching a Facebook contest, where participating Canadians have the chance to two tickets to the destination of their choice, departing from Montreal. The Facebook contest runs from July 4 - 18, 2016 at www.facebook.com/qatarairways.
Service between Montreal and the Doha, Qatar hub is available three times a week, on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The airline operates its flagship Boeing 777 long range aircraft on the route, with 335 seats in a two-cabin-class configuration.
