Airlines & Airports Bruce Parkinson May 02, 2022

With demand for domestic travel high, Air Transat has launched an enhanced domestic flight program.
Over the weekend, the airline launched this season’s program linking Montreal, Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver.
As well as serving domestic demand, these flights will also provide many Canadians with access to international destinations via connections in Toronto and Montreal.
Until the end of October, the airline will operate its flights to Western Canada with its new-generation Airbus A321neoLR aircraft.
Toronto-Calgary flight TS866 took off yesterday, as did Toronto-Vancouver flight TS932. At the height of the season, YYZ-YYC will operate eight times weekly, while YYZ-YVR flights will take off up to 10 times per week.
Today sees the launch of Vancouver-Montreal flights, which will run up to 10 times per week, while Calgary-Montreal flights launch tomorrow, May 3, with up to eight flights per week in peak season.
