Air Canada Suspending Service to San Juan, Puerto Rico Indefinitely

Effective immediately, Air Canada is suspending all service to San Juan's Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) indefinitely, following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Maria on the US territory of Puerto Rico,
Air Canada has implemented a goodwill policy for impacted travellers allowing them to change or cancel their bookings with no penalty.is in place so affected customers can change their bookings or obtain a refund.
Air Canada is working to secure alternate flights with US carriers for any cruise ship passengers due to board or arrive by cruise ships in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico could be tough for Canadians over the first few months of Winter 2017/2018 as earlier this week, Air Transat announced that they would not be resuming their flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico until February 18, 2018.
